Lessons

Scott Hills is happy to offer lessons for children and adults of all levels of experience. The goal of Scott Hills is to teach its students that riding is about having fun and building a relationship with your horse. We do go to shows and events but it’s not all about the blue ribbon. We want our students to feel a sense of accomplishment and enjoy the sport.

Scott Hills has two resident trainers. Both trainers teach under the English discipline but you are welcome to ride western. Chrissy Scheuett teaches our beginner lessons focusing on all the basics up to walk/trot/canter and jumping. Amy Kaplan teaches more advanced lessons in jumping, cross country, and dressage. Scott Hills also offers training rides for your horse with Amy.
